What is Treaty?

When it comes to Aboriginal communities, cultures and lands, the experts are of course Aboriginal people. 

Treaty is about ensuring Aboriginal communities have the power to come up with a deliver practical solutions at a local level.

The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria is the democratic body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Victoria.

  • Set on Wadawurrung Country along the scenic banks of the Werribee River, Treaty in the Park will be held at Wyndham Park. 

    Wyndham Park is centrally located in Werribee City Centre, within easy walking distance to major hotels along with great cafes and restaurants for a pre or post-show bite to eat.

    You’re also just a short drive from major attractions, including Werribee Open Range Zoo and Wyndham Harbour.

    Bringing the kids along? You’ll find loads of great playgrounds and things to do.

    Wyndham City acknowledges the Bunurong and Wadawurrung Peoples as Traditional Owners of the lands on which Wyndham City operates. The Wadawurrung and Bunurong Peoples have and always will belong to the Werribee Yalook (river), creeks, stars, hills and red clay of this Country. 

  • Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are enrolled with the First Peoples' Assembly of Victoria will be given free entry to the concert. To find out more about the important work of the Assembly and if you are eligible to enrol visit: firstpeoplesvic.org/enrol 

    Please note that tickets and enrolment details will be checked upon entry. 

    Friends and allies and those who aren't enrolled with the Assembly are welcome to enjoy the celebrations - Treaty in the Park is for everyone! 

    General admission tickets to see this deadly lineup are $50 +BF and concession and companion tickets are available for concession card holders for $30 +BF. 

    Kids who are 15 years and under are free but must be accompanied by a guardian. 

  • Treaty in the Park is a spectacular celebration of First Nations culture and music to be held at Wyndham Park, Werribee on Sunday 24 November 2024.

    The deadly lineup includes Dan Sultan, Mo’ju, Kutcha Edwards, Brolga and Madi Colville-Walker.

    Gates will open at 1pm, with a full program of music and culture starting from 2pm and running through the afternoon until 7pm.

    Please note this is an alcohol-free event and alcohol will not be sold or distributed on site. This is an all ages event, anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

    Pass outs will be available to ticketholders on the day.
